The state flower of Colorado can be found hiding in the fields and forests of the Rocky Mountains. Its delicate lines and nearly perfect combination of purple, white, and yellow make a captivating picture. This flower, discovered just outside of Eldora, CO on a seldom traveled dirt road, turned to the sun just in time for me to capture its secrets.
